Every holiday season, LSU’s Student Athlete Advisory
Committee (SAAC) and the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athlete
Affair’s hosts Thanksgiving with the Tigers. Student organizations and each
athletic team adopts a child who may not otherwise be able to have a holiday
celebration. Each team raises funds to provide gifts for their child and then
invites their families to take part in a traditional Thanksgiving meal and
games in the PMAC. The athletic training students where able to help make a
newborn girl’s first Christmas a memorable one through their generous donations.
Special thanks to all of those who donated and attended the event to help make
this holiday season a joyous one!
