This past summer Sarah Bair, an LSU second year athletic training student, traveled with James Madison University students to study Sports Medicine in Australia. While in Australia, Sarah was able to see many different sports arenas and talk to some Australian physiotherapists. She traveled to Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, and Surfer's Paradise. She has an incredible time learning about the importance of sports in Australian culture. She was also able to watch some Aussie rules football, netball, rugby league, rugby union, and a few other sports during her travels. "Australia was such an eye-opening experience to the ways sports medicine is impacting people all over the world and I can't wait to keep exploring" said Bair. Sarah has opened her classmates eyes to opportunities around the globe and different ways to use their skills.
