Recently the LSU Football Athletic Training Staff got the opportunity to travel to Dallas, Texas for the 2011 AT&T Cotton Bowl. While hard work and preparation for the big game was a top priority, the staff was also able to enjoy the events and have fun together. The week-long trip began with a Welcoming Party in Cowboy Stadium. Both LSU and Texas A&M were present for a celebration with a video, food, and fun. The next night the team and staff traveled to the Main Event for a laser tag/bowling/arcade/billiards extravaganza. This was followed up the next day with a Cotton Bowl tradition of the Lawry's Beef Bowl, an all-you-can eat steak dinner. The football staff was also included in the festivities of an autograph session pizza party at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, which provided top notch hospitality for the week, including access to stretch limo's! One night some students were able to go ice skating, too. After a week of fun, it was time to play the game. This was a great end to the week - a victory over the Aggies. It was great seeing LSU on the world's largest HD screen!
