Two important athletic training students need to be
recognized this month. Meaghan Hussey and Olivia Wishman, were both scholarship recipients at the annual Scholarship and Community Partners Award Ceremony. Meaghan Hussey is a third year student in our
program, working with the LSU football team this year. Olivia is also working with the football team
and is a first year student. Both
students have shown outstanding leadership in our program and academic
excellence. Both received scholarships
from the LSU School of Human Science's Kinesiology Department. Olivia was awarded a Premier Scholarship and
Meaghan the James A. “Jim” Cason Scholarship.
Ray Castle, our program director, was able to present each of these
scholarships to the students. We could
not be prouder of these two students and appreciate their representation of our
program!
