We are proud to announce that the student of the month for
November is Anna Fitch! Anna is a third year student who previously
worked with Football her first year and Soccer her second year in the
program. Anna has brought her bubbly
personality and experience to Swimming and Diving this year. When asked about Anna, Lauren Norton, a
certified athletic training graduate assistant working with Swimming and Diving, said, “Anna is a great student.
She takes advantage of her time with swimming and diving to become more
confident with her skills put together everything she has learned over the past
three years. This year Anna has been doing what she needs to do to be
prepared to be a graduate assistant next year and represent LSU well.” We know Anna will continue to give her best
to swimming and diving and we are proud of the work she has done thus far. Congratulations Anna!

LSU Tigers Football in Review
Another LSU Football season has come to an end. With the new addition finished, the stadium holds over 102,000 fans and has become louder and more intimidating for those opponents who enter Death Valley. The Tigers had a tough schedule this year and ended up with a record of 8 wins and 4 losses. LSU had a memorable win against Ole Miss who at the time, were ranked No. 3. The fans even rushed the field after the Tigers secured their victory. The Tigers competed against a tough Norte Dame team in the 2014 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl in Nashville, TN. The Tigers put up a good fight for the majority of the game, but ended up falling to the Fighting Irish in the last few seconds of the game with a Notre Dame field goal to win. The final score was 28-31. Regardless, we are all very proud of the Tiger football and their staff. We look forward to seeing what next year holds!

Annual Holiday Gathering 2015
Tis’ the season to be grateful and giving! The LSU athletic trainer’s came together for the annual holiday party at Jack Marucci’s house. His house was quickly filled with delicious food and enjoyable memories. The students from football gave us a laugh with a music video they had created (which can be found on youtube if you want a laugh too). Also, White Elephant, the crowd favorite, was a success. For those who do not know, White Elephant is a Christmas game in which everyone brings a gift and puts them all together. Each participant picks and number and the lowest number picks a gift first. Those with higher numbers can either open their own gift or steal a previously opened gift from someone else. Therefore, forcing the person the gift was "stolen" from to open another gift or "steal" from someone else. Gifts like nerf guns and speakers and everything in between were “stolen” or opened that night. It was a perfect night to get everyone together and celebrate the holidays before finals week began.
